Located at 8966 Hungtinton Road in the City of Vaughan, KLM Planning Partners Inc. in conjuction with a team of consultants worked with Vaughan staff to expedite the approvals of an Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment and Site Plan Application to facilitate a new Home Depot Distribution Centre in west Vaughan. The proposal facilitated phase 1 of the facility consisting of 61,093m2 of warehousing and distribution space with accessory office. The project was supported by 800 truck and trailer parking spaces, 540 employee parking spaces and 212 loading spaces. Given the importance of getting this facility constructed quickly in Vaughan, this project demontrated a high level of coordination between various stakeholders.
