Located within the Mount Joy GO Station Protected Major Transit Station Area (PMTSA), KLM led the land use approvals process for the site including Zoning By-law Amendment, Site Plan Approval and a Minor Variance to facilitate the creation of a vibrant mixed-use development. The development includes four high-rise buildings with a total of 1,279 residential apartment units and retail uses at-grade fronting Markham Road. Additionally, the development includes 12 townhouse units fronting Anderson Avenue, a central shared open space, and a stratified public park at the intersection of Castlemore Avenue and Anderson Avenue. The development is presently under construction, and when complete will create a transit-oriented development central to the Mount Joy Secondary Plan Area.
